Track and Field Results

Stratford Northwestern’s Track and Field team opened their high school season at the Forest City Prep meet hosted at Western University on Saturday, April 28. The highly competitive meet fielded over 950 athletes, many of whom are club trained (year round) from Thames Valley (London) and even the Toronto and Mississauga regions.
Despite the seasonable cold temperatures Huskies came home with an impressive 9 medals, 5 Northwestern Records, and several personal best performances. Makayla Roy and  Xavier Ollivier smashed existing Northwestern records en route to winning Gold Medals each.

SILVER – Xavier Ollivier – Midget Boys 200 metre – 24.71 seconds  (Xavier lost a very close race to Noah Cabral of Philip Pocock CSS (Mississauga) by only 6/100 second who ran 24.65 seconds) * NORTHWESTERN RECORD – Previous record – Kyle Liedtke – 25.65 seconds – 2007
SILVER – Ethan Reid – Senior Boys Javelin – 41.05 metres
